Jeopardy: Just Noticed This

I was watching Jeopardy the other night and noticed that Alex Trebek before asking a contestant to pick a question he looked down and to his left. Then I noticed this a second time. I figured he was looking for an indication of which contestant should ask the next question, but wasn't aware of an indicator.

After watching a bit more I noticed that on the bottom right (our left) of each players podium there is a little white light that lights to indicate the player who last correctly...

Upgrading from Bolt to Bolt+. Swap Cable Cards?

Hi,

Going to swap my Bolt for a Bolt+ and sell the Bolt. Can I pull the cablecard from the Bolt and move to Bolt+. Or should I just get a new Cablecard from Comcast and do the activation that way?

Any pointers to make this work easily on the first try would be appreciated.

Roamio Plus & 30 second skip

Never seen this before. When I use the 30 second skip instead of jumping 30 seconds ahead my Roamio Plus goes into fast forward to get 30 seconds further along. The 8 second skip back works like I expect, a direct jump back. I can probably get used to it but its not what I'm used to. Every previous TiVo has just jumped ahead. Is this something that can be set or is it hard coded behavior?

Any word on a CBS app for TiVo? I love my TiVo and would prefer not to buy another box just to watch Star Trek.

TIVO BOLT - No Signal with Vizio TV (model # VO370M)

I recently bought a TiVo-renewed BOLT 500 GB from TIVO to replace my series 3 box using my Vizio TV and an HDMI cable.

Note - Each time the Vizio TV is turned on, it takes about 15 seconds for the screen to display.

The issue I am having is that once I turn off the TV and turn it back on whether it is a minute later or 3 hours later I get a no signal message (when the screen finally displays).

I can resolve this only by doing any one of the following When the TV is on.

1) Unplug the HDMI...

HD Menu Software Version?

On my Roamio (basic), I noticed today that the system information page has HD Menu Software Version field with nothing listed. Is this a new field or an old one? I don't recall seeing it before.

It also doesn't have anything listed for Flash Player Version, which I know isn't a new field.

Currently running 20.7.1.RC2-USA-6-846 software.

Well, this is an odd twist for Tivo.

Last Fall I purchased a Tivo Romio OTA and the 1 TB external hard disk.

I want to purchase another for another part of the house, same setup.

I can not find the 1TB external storage on the Tivo web site, so I started a chat with Tivo support.
