Deactivated TiVoHD: Any Value or Use

I took advantage of the recent TiVo promotion and purchased two new TiVo Bolts and transferred lifetime service from my two TiVoHDs to the bolts via the recent $99 dollar offer.

What capabilities and/or value will my TiVoHDs have after they are deactivated by TiVo and cable cards removed? Is it anything besides a poorly designed door stop?

1. Will I still be able to watch the recorded programs that are on it?
2. Will I be able to transfer non-copy protected programs to my PC?...

Mini channel guide unable to show "Favorites"

I've seen the following behavior on a Mini connected to a BOLT as its host DVR, after the Mini's software had been updated to 20.5.4, and at least one other user is reporting similar behavior:

Symptoms: When viewing the channel guide on a Mini, using the (A) button to change the Guide Options to display a different channel list does NOT result in the guide refreshing and using the selected...​

Can't watch shows at online.tivo.com

I'm sure I'm just missing something obvious but I can't figure out for the life of me how to watch shows that I've recorded through online.tivo.com. I'm using a Tivo Roamio Pro and have it setup to stream to the iPhone and iPad apps with no problem. But when I view the shows on online.tivo.com I don't see any sort of "play" or "watch" button.

Is there a reason I'd be able to watch on the apps but not through a browser? If it seems like I'm missing something that should be easy, maybe...

The Mist (series) - season one - spoilers

Did anyone else watch The Mist premiere? I kindof loved it.

There are plenty of things that are off and silly but still found it fun summer scare fare.

The movie has always been one of my favorite Stephen King film adaptations (I rematched it last fall when I heard several of the actors were in The Walking Dead).

I am interested to see where they go with the series.
