I use a Harmony Ultimate to control my home theater, but usually use my iPhone or iPad to control both it and my Tivo, which requires two separate apps. Sure, the Harmony app can do everything, but doesn't have the two-way integration that makes the Tivo app so great.
It is funny to me when I accidentally tap the wrong thing in the Tivo app and get an error that I can't do that with the app (i.e. adjust volume). The Harmony Ultimate can now control anything with network remote capability, including lights and thermostats. It seems like there could now be better network integration between Harmony and Tivo so that two apps aren't required to control other devices via the Harmony's networked IR blasters.
Considering that the app is due for an update to match the new Premier/Roamio UI, does anyone think Tivo app developers might work to better integrate with universal and/or smart devices?
