Right now if you press the red "C" button you access the filtering options.
My suggestion is to either make holding this button down access the filtering options or make these filtering options part of the options you see when pressing the yellow "A" button.
A single press of the red "C" button should switch between the default filters and display the results in real time. The default filters should be able to be "checked" or "unchecked" in the filtering options menu.
Second,
IT would be nice if movies, news, kids and sports were color coded in the guide with an option to turn this on/off.
