Tivo desktop files not showing up on Tivo

When I bring up Tivo Desktop I can transfer files that are on the Tivo to my computer (into the My Tivo Recording) directory. But when I go to the now playing list on the Tivo and look under my computer the files don't show up? Any ideas how to troubleshoot/fix this?
