I've done several searches and haven't come to this same issue.
Setup:
A new Samsung JS8500 TV. Roamio Plus connected via HDMI to the "One Connect Mini".
What:
When the TV is turned on I get no audio over HDMI. It doesn't matter if the TV is only off for 5 seconds or 5 hours. It doesn't help if I put the Roamio into standby and then wake it up, no matter how long I wait or what order I do things. Switching inputs and back doesn't help. Other HDMI ports don't help.
My only fix currently is unplug and plug back in the HDMI cable.
Any solutions? This is extremely annoying and is absolutely killing the (WAF) Wife Acceptance Factor.
