Can't connect to new Bolt using Android app: "Version 2.0 Required"

I just replaced a ten year old (!) Series-3 with a new Bolt after the older device stopped being able to receive Comcast's MPEG-4 streams.

After a day, the Bolt seems to be working fine, with one exception. When I try to connect to it with the 3.x version of the Android TiVo App, I get this message on the app:

"Version 2.0 Required: The selected DVR requires version 2.0 of the TiVo app. Use the 2.0 app to connect to the selected DVR, or select a different DVR."

I find this puzzling as...
