Issue with menu selection hanging and stuttering

Hello all. I have an issue with my new Bolt+. When I'm in the menu, mostly in the find program screen, the remote will not be responsive, then after about 5 seconds, the menu selection will move rapidly.

In other words, if I move down and it hangs and I press down 2 more times, then after the hang, it will move done about 10 times down. Once it starts doing, it can take about 20 seconds for it to stop. So I press down, hangs, goes too far down, I press up a few times, it then runs up...
