System Info in browser?

There use to be a way to access the system info screen in a browser. If you went to...

http://<Stream IP>:49152/sysinfo/

However when I try it now it goes to the page but none of the info is filled in. If I pull up the web console in Firefox it appears there is some sort of javascript error that might be causing the page to fail. However if I pull up the sysinfo inside the iOS app it shows basically the same page but with the data filled in. Is there some alternate way to display this info in a browser? Or have they disabled that functionality in the latest release?

You guys really need to consider other shipping options for advanced replacements. Sure, a new customer is anxious to get a brand new Tivo. And even existing customers who order additional Tivos 'might' pay extra for their second or third. At least they have that option. Now, my Tivo is setup to feed every TV in my house. And a component of the unit has failed. While my advanced replacement has been setup and in progress, my only option was standard shipping. I've used the product for 10 years. What once was a luxury is now a necessity.

So someone please tell me, who is more likely and willing to pay an additional cost to get their Tivo the fastest? For now at least, humans are still involved, I think. To simply hear 'the system won't allow it'. . . . . is rubbish. Anyone?

Roamio OTA signal strength

Hi, I just hooked my Mohu Sky to my Roamio OTA and my signal strengths are 20 points lower than when hooked directly to the TV... Any ideas why? Does anyone else have this problem?

Does Anyone Have Reasonably Consistent Success with Out of Home Downloads to the App?

From day one with the app I've found the out of home download function mostly unworkable. Connection to the Roamio is consistently lost and has to be reestablished. Even if I'm patient, and reset the app multiple times, the show is almost always unplayable once the download finishes. I had hoped the new app update might fix this but no such luck. Does anyone out there have consistent success with out of home downloads? Streaming works perfectly, however. thanks

Roamio: Loud white noise then no beeps

I'm using PCM audio and everyone once and a while I get this loud white noise and no other audio. I think it happens when the program is playing and I hit to key that would generate a beep. Thus forcing it to mix audio. Hitting another key silences the white noise, the program audio returns, beeps are not heard again. If I go into audio settings and toggle between PCM and Dolby audio I get the beeps back until the next time.

2 Roamio Basics or 1 Roamio Plus?

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on switching from DirecTV to Time Warner Cable and going with all new Tivo equipment. I'm researching the Roamio basic vs plus and wanted to make sure I am not missing anything. The base hardware on the 2 units is the same right? Same processor, same speed, etc? "Important" features the basic is missing are 2 tuners, a smaller hard drive, built-in MoCA, gigabit ethernet. Normally I'd say go for the plus but with the Tivo summer sale on the refurb basic Roamio with lifetime for $400 total it's a tough call. I could get 2 Roamio basics with lifetime for much less than 1 Roamio Plus with lifetime plus a Mini. This would be a tougher decision if Spherular still had codes available making the prices more comparable. So I'm kind of torn. 2 basic Roamios would give me more tuners. I can upgrade hard drives easily myself. I don't really see myself using streaming so that is not a big deal to me. If I change my mind I can add it later. The gigabit ethernet also seems like a non-issue to me. Is there anything to be gained by having gigabit on the Roamio other than slightly faster transfers? Day to day usage of the DVR and Minis would not be impacted by ethernet speed at all would it?
