Why a separate out-of-home streaming setup option in TiVo iPad app?

The TiVo iPad app lets you check or uncheck the setup option for out-of-home streaming. While in-home streaming is checked by default, OOH streaming must be checked manually. From a technical point of view, why is this? I'd think it would make better sense to always set up for both IH and OOH streaming. Is there some reason why a user would ever want IH streaming enabled but OOH streaming disabled?



I am a new Roamio Plus user and a new iPad app user, and I'm just wondering about this.
