Switching tivos but want to keep current plan

I have been a Tivo customer FOREVER (2003). I currently have a 1000hr Premiere I pay $9.95/mo for and 140hr Series 2 I pay $12.95/mo for (yeah yeah yeah I know about lifetime but I couldn't fork that much out at one time). Recently my mother passed away. She had a 500hr Premiere that I would like to swap out with my Series 2 unit. I chatted with customer service online, and they acted like there was no way I could keep that pricing. I haven't tried to call in just because of the way the online rep's conversation went. My question is what do you think the likelihood of me keeping my current pricing structure is? If it goes up much I'll just say screw it and keep the old Tivo I have. I'd have to pay about $7 more per month according to the online rep.
