Bolt freezes when I hit the play button

I have a new Bolt 500GB that was installed last Friday. Four times now when I select a recorded show to watch and hit play, the bolt freezes and only displays a black screen. When I hit buttons on the remote the front panel light blinks, I hear the TiVo gong and the time (trick code) displays on the top right part of the screen, but no video.
