How to stop Mini from turning on my TV

I have my Mini set up with both an HDMI cable to my TV and the breakout cables to my Slingbox. Whenever I log in to my Slingbox remotely, my TV is powered on. I don't want this to happen as I am usually away for extended periods when using the Slingbox.

My TV is an LG and does not have the HDMI-CEC (SimpLink) feature. And I previously had this setup working just fine with same TV, same Slingbox, and my Time Warner box, so I'm inclined to think it's being caused by the Mini.

Any ideas?
