If so, would getting an image of an updated drive allow a device to get immediate guide data from Rovi? (instead of being stuck in a guided setup loop with the device looking for guide data from Gracenote where none is to be found, and being unable to proceed beyond that point)

If so, does anyone know where I can source an image of an XL (748000) running the latest software?
