No picture on TiVo Bolt when using signal booster/amplifier

I got this Channel Master coaxial signal booster/amplifier because we are splitting the cable line in my house, and I am trying to make the picture clearer. I am getting V52 errors and no signal with it connected, on the TiVo. Pretty sure the issue is not with the amplifier - wonder if there is anything I am overlooking with regard to the TiVo.
