Purchased use Tivo series 4 missing HDD

Purchased a use Tivo series 4 missing HDD. I try to put a hdd in the Tivo, but will not boot past the welcome screen, im guessing the HDD is not formated for Tivo. Is there any software that will format it it or has a blank image for Tivo series 4 i can use with DvrBARS?
