Should I Buy My Bolt from Tivo or from Amazon?

Are there any warranty or support differences if I purchase a Bolt from Amazon versus buying it directly from TiVo? The Amazon price is lower but I seem to recall reading about TiVo owners having trouble getting support and repair assistance if they did not purchase their unit directly from TiVo.

Any advice appreciated.
