Streaming from Bolt Broken?

I just got the Bolt on the $99 deal. From the TiVo it replaced, I wanted to gain the skip feature and streaming outside the house.

On my iPhone app, the 'watch' button is still greyed out, and message says not available. This is for normal channels that have no problem with transfer locks or any restriction like that.

Is there some setting on the Bolt to "turn on" this feature that i just missed?
