Kind of a personal topic, so that's why I put it in the women's corner. If anyone knows the answer, please chime in. I was putting in my activities today: shopping, sleeping and the standard "seated with some movement" for my lifestyle. Then I added sex, moderate effort. and my calories burned actually went down. I figured out that the system says both sex, moderate effort and seated with some movement are 2 calories burned for every minute, although the calories burned will go down if you add in sex. If you just leave it at seated with some movement the day's calories burned will be higher. I would like to think that sex with moderate effort would be worth more than me sitting at my desk and getting up every so often. Anyone ever notice that before? I'm kind of baffled. "Sorry honey. We can't have sex today because FitDay says it will cost me calories burned." lol:confused:

Mind Tricks: Good and Bad
I'm sure we all have them. Learning the good ones and recognizing the bad ones is the purpose of this thread.
Good One: Treating my diet as an opportunity to cook and enjoy foods I would not normally cook for myself. I always eat better when dieting.
Bad One: Letting the scales fluctuations send me into doubt that it's all worth it.
Please post your good and bad mind tricks.

Protein Powder Recipes Anyone?
I bought a container of EAS Complete protein powder in vanilla. Anyone have recipes to make that taste good with protein powder? I tried it in my overnight oats with a little extra almond milk and didn't care for it at all. Suggestions?
I think Giggles are necessary on our journey
I am a total princess when it comes to enjoying my baths. Weekends mean long soaks usually with something wonderful (often a Lush product)
I decided to use some kind of sparkly silver star offered at Christmas time. I now have the most sparkling cellulite on the block!!
I didn't think it would stick the way it did, but it did:cool:
I highly recommend a glitter bath for a new look :D

Introduction
Hi, I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. I have been battling a (mostly losing-and not pounds!) battle with my weight since I was a young child. I had some success about 4 years ago losing 80 pounds with another 140 to go. I injured my Achilles tendon pretty badly and continued further damage by deciding it was all in my mind! I ended up out for over 2 months and lost the motivation to continue.
4 years later and 45 pounds back on  I am back at it again!
I have the exercise down to becoming routine now, but I need food help.
I have never kept a food journal before so this is new, and in some ways motivating (do I really want to look up and record the calories in this?) It helps with mindless sampling/snacking.
So Hi!
