Wish list scheduling

I have a few wish list items that often result in programs that I do not want. So, every day or two I will look through the todo list on my iPad and find those I don't want and select do not record. However, I notice that the wishlist items often don't propagate to the todo list until a day or two before they are due to record. I was wondering why they don't almost immediately appear on the todo list and thus be shown 10 or more days into the future. Sometimes it seems that a program that I don't want will record seemingly the next day after I've reviewed the todo list.

Is there an explanation for this behavior? It's not a big thing, but it just piqued my curiosity.

The Flash - "Who Is Harrison Wells?" S1:E19, OAD 04/21/2015

Wow - I am amazed at the stupidity of the two main females in this show. Almost as stupid as Barry letting anyone hit him. Ever.

At least we got to see Barry kiss Caitlin, but I suppose it will be the last time.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - "The Frenemy of My Enemy" S2E18, OAD 04/21/2015

I find it hilarious that people think Skye / Daisy needs protection from anyone.

I find it frustrating that we STILL haven't seen her dad's trick.

Strange FF Fast Forward behaviour on SOME channels?

Not really sure where this goes but couldn't find a search result.

Lately I have noticed when watching some channels (NBC11HD Bay Area channel 703) with my MINI, the FF function is very jerky, as if it is skipping through CHUNKS rather than actually scanning fast forward. Makes it very difficult to fast forward through say ADS and other boring content.

I THOUGHT it was just a mini thing, maybe MoCa network issue (although MoCa details are strong 275+)

Today I notice the same thing happening on the primary Premier XL4, same issue, same channel 703.?

Is there something about channel bandwidth that could be causing this?

It happens during live tv streaming/viewing as well as watching recorded content.

How to make Comcast VOD work with Premier XL4?

On my Premier XL4, I find a TV show that I want to watch that is on XFINITY VOD. I select Watch Now > XFININITY VOD. It takes me to a screen with a description of the show. I Press Watch Now. I see about 1 second of video and can hear audio and then the TIVO goes to the gray screen that says: "This screen is displayed on behalf of your cable provider." across the top and lists the CableCardID, HostID, Data, UnitAddress, Card S/N, eCM Mac, Host MAC and Host Type. At the bottom is says "Press Clear to Exit".

Does anyone know how to make Comcast/XFINITY VOD work with the Premier XL4? Do I need to do something on the Tivo to make this work? Do I need to get Comcast to do something? If I need to contact Comcast, what specifically do I ask them for? I'd like to know a lot more about what I need before contacting Comcast as dealing with first level support at Comcast is likely to attempt to waste a lot of time as they follow some script that rarely has much to do with your actual issue unless you can help direct them to a more productive path.

N17 negotiating error?

I just discovered that none of my TiVos have connected to TiVo service since April 14th, and that they only have program data through this Saturday. They report "Failed while negotiating." Something called an N17 error.

There are no issues with my internet service or network equipment, and there have been no changes there or with the TiVos. To be clear, they can still get online....they just can't seem to connect to the mothership. (They can connect to Netflix, and oddly, they even make successful VCM connections.)

Anyone else currently experiencing this problem, which feels like it must be on TiVo's end? Anyone familiar with it, or understand the cause?

TiVo Roamio Pro and Comcast PPV Boxing

I wanted to confirm I can order a PPV boxing event on Comcast and watch it on my TiVo Roamio Pro before Mayweather vs Pacquiao. Here is my chat transcript with support -- was the support rep correct? I don't want to order the event, discover I can't watch it, and then go through hell trying to get a refund.

Genina > Hello EVAN_, Thank you for contacting Comcast Live Chat Support. My name is Genina. Please give me one moment to review your information.
EVAN_ > My Issue: TiVo Roamio Pro and PPV Boxing
Genina > I hope you haven't waited so long to be assisted and that you are having a great day.
EVAN_ > Hello, I have a TiVo Roamio Pro DVR and I wanted to know if I can order PPV Boxing over the phone and watch the PPV show on my TiVo DVR?
Genina > Hi, Evan.
Genina > I understand that you would like to know if you can order a PPV event from your TiVo.
Genina > I am more than willing to help!
EVAN_ > Well, not from the TiVo. I want to order the PPV event over the phone or online, and then tune to the PPV channel to watch it on my TiVo.
Genina > All right. Yes, Evan. You can definitely order a PPV Event and watch it on your TiVo.
EVAN_ > Is there a public article somewhere that I can read that confirms this?
EVAN_ > I don't want to order an expensive PPV Boxing event and then run into trouble and not be able to watch it.
Genina > Oh, we do have the document here on my end but this is for internal access only. Let me check if we have this available on the website.
Genina > I understand that, Evan.
Genina > I can assure you that you can watch a PPV Event on your TiVo.
EVAN_ > Can you make note of this on my account? If I order a PPV event and determine I can't watch it, will I be refunded?
Genina > I am sorry, Evan but we do not have the article available online. Sure. I am leaving complete notes on your account regarding this. You can take my word, Evan. Any necessary credit will be processed for any trouble but I can assure you that there will be no issue.
Genina > PPV works on TiVo.
EVAN_ > Great, thank you.
