Hooking up Frontier FIOS to use Smart TV

I have a Tivo HD XL. It has been hooked up to the internet and cable TV using a NIM100. My new TV is a Smart TV that has access to Amazon Prime. The wireless signal from the router is not strong enough to reach the new TV. Any ideas on how I can access the Ethernet input on both my new TV and my Tivo HD? This would give me Guide information and access to Amazon but I can't figure out how to set it up. Thanks for any help you can give.
