How I upgraded from a two Premiere setup to a Roamio and Mini and made $$$

I have been a TiVo customer since 1998 with my Sony Series 1 and PLS. I've always purchased PLS, as I'm one of the people who prefer to buy my equipment/services rather than lease or setup any kind of monthly payments.



In June 2012, I purchased a Premiere TCD746320 and Premiere Elite TCD758250, both with PLS.



In December 2014, I decided to go with the new Roamio+ and Mini setup. I purchased a Roamio+ and PLS directly from Tivo for $499.98 + $40 tax for a total of $539.98 (free shipping). I was able to get this price because of having been a TiVo customer for over 10 years ("Loyalty Program") and getting PLS for only $99. TiVo also threw in a Slide Pro Remote and RF dongle at no cost and free shipping. I also purchased a Mini on Amazon for $129.95 (PLS included, no tax or shipping).
