Old shows in "My Shows" labeled as "New"

I have a TiVo Premiere XL4, software version 20.4.5c-01-2-758. I have an archive of shows dating back to September that I've watched. Now 95% of the shows on my Tivo are labeled as "New". This makes it very annoying to determine if a new episode has recorded for a series or not. Not to mention the clutter it creates. Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening and how to fix it?
