I have a Tivo Premiere and Cox cable with a scientific atlanta cablecard and a Cisco 1520 TA. Last week, my recordings would stop after a few seconds and I would have to restart the tuning adapter to get the channel again. I replaced the cablecard and tuning adapter. Cox says the cablecard has been paired.
When I plug in the TA, it blinks a few times, then the Tivo displays a message stating that the Tivo is unable to communicate with the TA and suggests that I unplug and restart the TA. The TA then stops blinking and has no lights at all displayed. If I then press the power button to the TA, it will just blink constantly and never get a solid light.
I have tried two brand new tuning adapters and two different cable cards with the same results. Cox has been unable to identify the problem.
I don't know where to go from here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
