I got a replacement Tivo Premiere XL4 in exchange for my faulty Premiere Elite.
I transferred over 120 Season Pass recordings via the web which is when they started behaving strangely.
Several of these recordings are my kids'- after the transfer one Disney show that was set to "New Only" is recording 3 times, others 4 times. They aren't simply recording on the Disney Channel, they're recording on the DisHD, DXD, Spanish, etc, and they were recording all instances of the shows, not just "New Only" like it states when I review the information onscreen.
I called Tivo support and they said delete my season passes and try again. I deleted all of the kids' season passes, setting them all for "New Only" and setting the channels.
However when I look at my to-do list I'm seeing dozens of shows in the to-do list which are set to record but they aren't new episodes- I click on them, click on Modify this Season Pass, and it shows that only new episodes are to record.
I have manually reconnected to the Tivo Service every day to make sure that I download the correct or updated programming guides.
I never had this issue with either of my two Tivos I owned- additionally this does not appear to be happening with all the season passes I've transferred over, just some of them.
Has anyone seen this happen before?
