Sound cuts out when changing viewed program

I have the Roamio basic.When I change from watching live TV (OTA) to watch something recorded, and when I change from one recorded show to another recorded show, the sound cuts off. In order to get the sound back, I have to turn off the TV for a couple seconds, and then when I turn the TV back on the sound is back on. Any suggestions for a fix? Thanks.
