After purchasing a new Roamio Plus and adding a MoCA adapter to my old Premiere I am finally able to transfer and stream shows between boxes and to my phone and iPad without too many problems. This was not the case with wireless as it is apparently too slow for reliable transfers and streaming even though TiVo continually touted these features.
Why has it taken so long for MoCA to be added to TiVo boxes and cable? I wasn't aware of MoCA until I got the Roamio but I think it's been around for awhile. Does it just take time for providers to catch up or did it just take some time for MoCA to be tested? Just wondering. :confused: So far I think it's great.
