kmttg and downloading movies

I'm a kmttg newb, my first shot at downloading from Tivo and transferring to android tablet. So far I've managed to download 3 files for a movie - mpg, srt, and tivo. Not sure where to go from here, is there a step by step guide somewhere? I've plowed thru the kmttg help files without much success. Thanks!
