Hello
I have the Pace MG1 with Armstrong, in Ohio, USA. I had previously got my OneForAll URC-10820B00 universal remote to learn the commands from the Armstrong/TiVo remote using the standard learning function.
But now I have purchased a new OneForAll OARUSB04G remote, also a learning remote. But it won't learn from the original Armstrong/TiVo remote.
I am told that the MG1 remote is possibly an RF remote as well as an IR remote. When I use the remote, the remote light on the front of the unit lights up green, which apparently indicates RF. But my previous OneForAll remote is not RF, yet learned just fine from this remote.
Can anyone confirm whether the MG1 remote is RF only or whether it can be made to communicate with the MG1 by IR? So I can learn the codes into my new learning remote?
Thanks!
