I'm a big fan of science documentaries. If you're not familiar with Curiositystream, you can think of it as being like the Netflix of documentary television. They have a lot of original programming.
Until recently, I lamented the fact that it was only available on chromecast and Roku. For reasons I won't get into, changing the inputs on my TV is more trouble than it's worth.
I recently found that you can also subscribe to it via Amazon video. They charge about $2 more a month over the usual Curiositystream sub price, but it's worth it just so I watch it on my Tivo. The only drawback is that I have not found a good way to search for the Curiositystream content via the Tivo Amazon app. I have to use Amazon's mobile app, or the web site to put things on my Amazon watch list. They are then queued up for playing on Tivo.
I wanted to post this for the benefit of others who want this content but are unaware of this option. I searched around for a long time before I discovered this way of getting Curiositystream on my Tivo.
I have a prime membership, but not sure if the subscription is available without prime. i think it is.
