I have a TiVo Premiere that just got it's Ethernet fried. Everything else still works. I have bought a Premiere XL on Craigslist to replace it. There is not a LOT of content on the old one that I'm too worried about, but if it's not too much trouble to copy them off I'd like to. What I'm more interested in is: is there anyway to backup my schedules and install them on the new XL? I know there are ways to do this with an Internet connected Tivo, but is there a way without? What about putting the old TiVo HD in an external enclosure and hooking it to the XL??? I have no idea, grasping at straws. Any help appreciated.
