With Parental controls ON, I touch GUIDE, Guide comes up.
If I SELECT a channel that is locked (due to parental control settings), the Pop up instructing me to touch SELECT (which then allows password entry to turn off parental controls) never shows up. I simply get a black screen.
If I hit SELECT button anyway, then the 1/3 screen Guide shows up.
If I hit CHANNEL DOWN to lower channel and then back up with CHANNEL UP, the pop up sometimes comes up, sometimes doesn't.
So the pop up never comes up via Guide, sometimes comes up via channel up/down.
What do I do?
I called Tivo support (no help), so they opened a case.
