Question about the new "Fargo" series

I'm not even sure if it's started yet, but does anyone know if there's a connection with the movie of that title?



Is it a continuation with recast roles, or is it simply based on the movie, same characters, but the movie's events "never happened"? Does it have NOTHING to do with the film?



I saw an ad with what looked like a female law enforcement officer that reminded me of the one in the movie, so it seemed there might be some type of connection.
