I have a tivo series 4 with an external HD, using my home network,.

I have the Tivo on channel 8, but I am watching a saved program on tv. Channel 8, which I am not watching, but if I hit LIVE TV, the tv will show channel 8, has an EMERGENCY WEATHER ALERT come on.,

My tivo will then STOP showing the saved program I am watching and show me the EMERGENCY ALERT!.

how do I stop my tivo from changing channels?

Most of the time, the ALert isnt even about my area, I don't need to worry about weather at all.

I have can record 2 shows. I want to (season pass, etc) record 2 shows,A and B. I set then to record at 6pm. Then I find a show, C, to record that also shows at 6pm.



When I hit record show C, I get told "Do you want to cancel record program A at 6?

I really dont want to record show B and thus record show A and C



So I have to go into the TO DO LIST and figure out what SHOW B.



why can't my tivo tell me, 6pm has shows A and B set to record, which do you not want to record, (so I can record show C)





Or can it do that already and I just don't know how?
