I hope someone has some ideas!
I'm a long time Tivo user. At this time, I have two Premieres, one Roamio and one Mini in use.
Last night, one of the Premiere's (we will call it PrO for ease of use) seemed to disappear from the screen. It's hooked up correctly; all the wiring is tight and so on, so that's not an issue. The Mini cannot "see" it at all. The other two Tivos can, but the shows cannot be displayed because "of a network problem." (For whatever reason, the Mini & Pr0 operate out of the same room through a Moca connection. It's been this way for months, though; at one point the PrO was not receiving all channels during the middle of the day, so the Mini was added, and the user either goes back and forth using Devices on the TiVo or he changes the input. I'm not sure how relevant this is, but I thought I would mention it. I know there is little logic in having both right there, but it is hard to argue with my father, especially when he understands about 3/4 of what I'm talking about.)
As you have likely noted before if you've had a Tivo for long, it's the dreaded "cannot find DHCP server" error that comes up, even though it is wired in. (Yes, we've done the standard rebooting and all--no help.)
I went on the computer & checked the attached devices for the router. When an issue like this usually happens with a network problem, the TiVo does not show as attached. But surprisingly, all Tivos, even the one in question, show as attached devices, so that's something that is new.
Any suggestions? I've tested the Internet signal, and it is very strong. It's my theory we may have a very low cable signal, but I don't know that it would cause this.
Please help or provide any thoughts if you can. Thank you in advance!
