So I have starting using my Minis in earnest. But I either have a problem or have run across a limitation. The Roamio was in a power saving mode and hence would enter standby every night and at other times.
It appears that if I go start a mini with the Roamio in standby it won't find it! As so as I go back to the Roamio and start it up the Mini returns to its normal connected state.
For now I have switched of power savings on the Roamio, I'll see it that resolves this. From a user friendly viewpoint I would have expected a Mini to be capable of kicking its master DVR out of standby.
Is this simply a product limitation?
