Hello All
We are moving into a new apartment, where we will be getting FIOS installed. We will probably be putting a TV in the basement, which has no coax and want to connect a Mini to it.
Does anyone have any recommendations on possible networking options?
I have some "500mbs" rated powerline adapters from 3-4 years ago that provided an OK TiVo streaming experience but lost signal and needed to be reconnected every few days.
Are there any current powerline adapters that are more reliable? Any reasonably priced, reliable AC bridges? Anything else? Smoke signals? subspace transmission?
To the extent it matters, I'll be using Verizon's quantum gateway as my wireless router.
BTW, I know that there are people that love running Ethernet cable and will evangelize about how it's not that hard, but let's just assume it's off the table :)
