Tivo Bolt HDMI failed and I have to pay to exchange it

So I'm rather irritated right now..

I have a bolt for 3/4 yr now with the standard 1yr service.. I called in because the HDMI port has failed on it and they're telling me there's a 49 dollar fee just to exchange the box.. I thought this thing had a 1yr warranty with it?? Then they tell me after 1yr there's a 150 dollar fee to exchange it if the hardware fails.. I can buy a new one for 200 bucks right now!

Doesn't this 15/mo plan cover hardware replacements fully? Yet they tack on this BS hardware exchange fee.. WTF!! Sooo glad I didn't buy any mini's or do the all-in plan on this thing.

Honestly I think I'm just going to go back to a DVR box, it's the same cost to me. I had to pay for this TiVO up front 300 bucks just to get the box/service, now that their hardware failed I have to pay even more. Then after my 1yr comes up I have to pay another 150/yr (which is expected).. But overall its costing me more now.

Argh!!
