OK, been a week now with the Tivo and all is working well.
I decided to add a Roku that I have laying around to the same TV that the Tivo is connected to. The Tivo is connected via HDMI and the Roku is connected via AV cables.
My problem is switching between the 2 devices. The original TV remote has a Input button that brings up a list of inputs. You scroll through them with some arrows and hit enter to select the one you now have highlighted.
When I use the Roamio remote I puh the input button and it brings up the list of inputs on the TV. The problem is non of the keys (arror or others) will page up and down through the inputs. I tried several codes and all the ones that worked for the input button all do the same thing. Other than buying a learning remote is there any way around this. Asking my wife to pick up the TV remote to change inputs is like asking for....well you know.
