PyTivo Subdirectories not refreshing

I have been running PyTivo for a few years. Over the last few months I have noticed that directory subfolders are not refreshing like they used to. It used to be instant, so as soon as i added a file i could see it on the tivos. Now the files don't show up in the subdirectories. I have to press #2 to see all files in main directory to have access. I don't think i changed anything in config that would cause this. Has anyone else experienced this? Any easy fix?
