A few years since I successfully moved a few recorded prgms from my laptop w/Desktop Plus to my old iPod and have been trying now without any luck to move prgms to my iPhone. Unfortunately I never wrote down the steps involved on how I did it and now I can't recall it's been so long. :(
My laptop setup is the same; I have Desktop Plus 2.8.3. I have not been able to locate online a walk through tutorial. I hope someone in these forums would be kind enough to walk me through what to do with simple instructions as I am not technically savvy at all.
I can see the program I would like to get on my iPhone sitting in the "my programs list" that I've transferred from my Premiere Tivo box. I have selected and highlighted it, then go up to actions, click on "convert for", select Apple iPhone. After doing that I can see in my system tray the small Tivo icon with a swirling wheel, and when I hover over that it will tell me "Tivo Desktop: -Server running -Converting followed by a percentage figure that increases as it spins. I keep my iTunes open (ITunes 11.1.5.5).
What is supposed to happen when the prgm finishes converting? I've gotten this conversion process going several times but it never appears in iTunes which is where I'm guessing it should move to when the conversion is completed.
