How to connect a Premiere XL4

I currently own a Series 2 DT and just purchased a new Premiere XL4.



I had the old Series 2 DT hooked up the following way... coax from wall to cable-in and ethernet cable from my modem to ethernet port on my Tivo.



I know that I will have to get a CableCard to receive my cable tv channels but will connecting the ethernet cable from my cable modem be sufficient?



If it is NOT sufficient, what is the easiest way to connect the Premiere XL4?
