So this might be an odd question, but looking at all my networked devices on my FIOS router I seem to see an extra tivo on my network. Everything thing works with my Tivo setup so no worries, but just bugs me I have this extra IP being used by something.
I have one Roamio Pro and one mini. I can identify them by their MAC address. I also then assigned fixed IP to each one. I still seem to have another one with a different MAC address and different IP. The MAC address between the Pro and the phantom one is only different by the last character (Roamio e9, phantom ea).
IP setup - to show how they are being seen.
192.168.1.115 - Roamio Pro - Fixed IP - COAX
192.168.1.116 - Tivo Mini - Fixed IP - COAX
192.168.1.12 - Tivo ? - DHCP - COAX
192.168.1.100 - FIOS DVR - DHCP - COAX
I can ping all the of them so it is on my network. Can this be something with the roamio pro? I can account for all the other devices on my network. It is even named "Tivo" in the list of devices.
However I do not see it from the iPad app or any other communication device with the Tivo.
Thoughts or am I crazy?
