Hey everyone --
I'm pretty sure the suggested threads answered my question, but I didn't notice any specifically geared to Series 3 models.
I just raised my OTA antenna a few feet higher. Now, through the TV's tuner I get all the Detroit stations I was getting before, plus several more stations from Toledo, Lansing, Jackson, and Windsor. I don't see these stations on the TiVo. I did the channel rescan and it didn't help. Is this one of those cases where the TV's tuner is better than the TiVo's over-the-air tuner, or would fewer cable or a different splitter make a difference?
[It's fifty feet of coaxial cable from there to the house and a few more feet inside the house, then to a Radio Shack powered coax splitter going to the TiVO and the TV, a 2010 era Samsung LCD. Splitter has four outbound ports but I'm only using the first two.]
Thanks in advance.
