Turning activation on and off

I have two Tivos on Cox in my primary home. In my vacation home I use OTA only as reception is very good. I have my old Series 3 with a lifetime and an XL there. Since there are times when I don't visit the second home for a month, I am wondering if I can repeatedly activate and deactivate the XL. When I activated the XL they offered the discounted rate with a twelve month rate or the normal rate with no commitment. I chose the no commitment option.



Any thoughts?
