HBO Free Weekends with Roamio

Thinking of switching to TWC (Time Warner Cable) with a Tivo Roamio. We currently have DirecTV. I don't subscribe to HBO, but a couple of times a year HBO will have free preview weekends where you'll get the HBO channels for free. I use these free previews to DVR several movies.



My question is this, if you are accessing TWC with a Roamio Plus, do you get the free preview weekends or do you have to have a cable company box to get them?
