My Idea for the next generation Tivo

The next generation Tivo would work with OTA, CableCard, and Tivo's own IPTV service. You see, Tivo would contract with all of the major networks to start their own IPTV service. All you would subscribe to from your cable company is their internet. Tivo would be your DVR and TV service provider. forget about physical tuners, you can record as many shows as your connection allows. You would also be able to sacrifice video quality for more "tuners". Ouch. a flea just bit my big toe. Anyways, the box itself would have a 4TB hard drive, the same interface it does now, only with a faster processor, more ram, and a web browser. The front of it would have a VFD display like the series 3 boxes did. It would also have a front USB port. That port would allow you to connect your iPhone or iPad and sync shows for offline viewing, such as on a plane, train, or automobile. It would also have a built in BluRay Recorder, so you can both play blu ray movies and record shows to blu ray. The box would cost 499.99 outright, with a 5.99 monthly service. It would have Lifetime basic service included. If you subscribe to TiVo's IPTV service, the box would cost $99 and the monthly service would be a part of the IPTV service. I'd like your thoughts on this idea.
