Not sure if anyone else experienced what I did with the mini.
I bought the mini when it first came out. I hooked it to my P4 and it stole a tuner. I bought a second mini and let it share the single stolen tuner.
I was excited about the prospect of the dynamic tuner feature, but forgot about it.
I eventually bought a roamio pro and switched my minis to use those tuners, but one tuner was still reserved on my P4. I actually did not notice that I had a missing tuner until this week.
Well here is how you get your missing tuner back if you have one stuck.
From TiVo Central > Settings & Messages > Settings > Channels > Channel List.
On that screen enter the numbers 88634.
You should hear a tivo beeping or two. Now if you were missing a tuner you have it back.
However if you were not missing a tuner, now you are! lol. Just go back in and do it again.
