My original Premiere drive died (stuck in reboot loop). Thanks to ggieseke I was able to get another image and restored that image (with DvrBARS) to a new WD 1TB drive, expanded and supersized that drive (with jfms).
Popped it back into the Tivo - it booted, ran through guided setup. Strangely my cable card seemed to still be paired (meaning I can get channels). I can login and stream Netflix. It downloaded whatever updates it needed. All seems to be working normally.
Of course until I go to record. Nothing records. Not immediately with record button, not manual, not scheduled via guide. Kinda defeats the purpose of a DVR!! I've rebooted it and checked what settings I know and all seem correct.
The shows which are scheduled (and the time to start has passed) just show in the To Do list like they are still waiting to kick off and record.
I read in a very old thread that one could do a Clear and Delete Everything to fix this, but then I'll lose the cable card pairing and have to deal w/ Cox.
Any other ideas, or is the CD&E the option which will work?
