Roamio Green Light

This is very likely the most basic question ever posted on this or any forum...



I just bought a Roamio this week. The green light ring on the front...is that supposed to always be on?



Similarly, I have a TiVo mini, and there is a tiny LED...is that supposed to be on all the time as well?
